From Dublin/ Fermoy (n8) - Start out at Fermoy, follow signs for Cork n8. Pass through Rathcormack Village. At Dunkettle Interchange (n25), take 3rd exit to Cork City Centre. Junction with r639 At roundabout forward - direction city centre. Travel along Andersons Quay. Forward through 1st set of lights (Penrose Wharf on right) at Michael Collins Bridge. Transfer into left lane. At next set of traffic lights, bear left. Cross the Brian Boru Bridge. Go through two more set of lights and the Clarion Hotel is on your left. Car Parking is available at Lapps Quay Car Park at a special rate of 5euro per night until 12 noon day of departure to guests of the hotel. (Take a left turn at last set of traffic lights to access the car park).
